Drifting in Orbit!

Do you ever find yourself exhausted, drained of all your energy because you’re constantly giving your energy away to meet certain expectations?


We can easily get caught in situations such as: trying to please others by giving them what we think they need. This causes us to forget about our own needs; the need to be true to ourselves. We create patterns of codependency when we stop taking responsibility for ourselves.

When we begin to put all of our attention on a person, job or thing, and lose focus on our own path, we are put into a state of mind, referred to as Orbit.  We may find ourselves stuck in unhealthy patterns we unconsciously set ourselves up for. When we get lost in orbit, we allow our minds to be filled with assumptions of what we think should be. This may cause us to react to a situation instead of mindfully responding. If we put all our energy into a false reality, we will only drain ourselves of our precious energy and drive ourselves into a state of depletion.

Each and every one of us needs to do our part and our own work. Remember that you’re not alone and the most important person in your life is you. It’s easy for us to get bombarded by expectation, but there is nothing to prove. What’s essential is that you find what makes you happy, that you’re grounded in your beliefs and boundaries. When we are able to let go of expectations, we allow our true potential to be set free.​
